Customer Reviews

"A+ on all accounts -- food, service, atmosphere. Authentic mexican restaurant with quality ingredients. Their horchata was incredible and the tortilla chips in the nachos were pretty much perfect and were a solid foundation for the toppings. Very friendly service and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place."

"Nice place, with a homely feel. Other than me, there was just one table occupied by non-Hispanics which is some evidence of authenticity (I cannot judge everyone was Mexican, as I am not that good at identifying accents and dialects). From the time I spent in Guadalajara, I have been a fan of birria de chivo, so my order was a no brainer when I found it on the menu. Here it was lamb instead of goat, but good nonetheless. Tortillas were fresh and came in a beautiful straw basket. Churros were a slight letdown but you could blame it on me not knowing the difference between Spanish churrows and Mexican - this was more dense and more doughy in the center - was heavy enough to feel a breakfast dish on its own, rather than a post meal dessert."

"No frills authentic Mexican food that won't break the bank. Portions were generous. The atmosphere was simple but homey. Definitely worth a visit (and a revisit!) Asado taco had really tasty & juicy meat. The grilled pork was also fantastic (it wasn't on the menu, but was displayed near the counter, so make sure to ask.)"

"It's been 5 years since I've had authentic Mexican food, not many options in Europe. I've also tried other local "Mexican" restaurants near the downtown area and was very disappointed. This place nailed it! The staff were amazing, great portions, and the food was delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"12 dollars for 4 tacos and I got a extra one too lol they show mad love to the city plus tacos cheap and really good definitely a good spot quick, affordable, and delicious! Thank you !"

"Came here for tacos and was not disappointed. Best were the shrimp tacos and the al pastor. Birria and fish tacos were delicious too. We also got the platter with pork, beans and salad - good for sharing but really the tacos are the star. They're pretty hefty (double tortillas) so would order maybe 3-5 per person. The tacos are on the dry side but come with a dipping sauce that is really good. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well priced. They do close at 8.45pm and take final orders at 8pm so not a late night spot."
